1. はじめに

TalkBuddy（以下「本アプリ」）は、abyo software 合同会社（以下「当社」）が提供する語学学習アプリケーションです。本プライバシーポリシーは、本アプリにおけるユーザー情報の取り扱いについて定めます。

2. 収集する情報

本アプリは以下の情報を取り扱います：

• 会話データ：ユーザーが入力したメッセージおよびAIの応答は、言語学習の目的でAI（Google Gemini）に送信されます。
• 学習記録：会話履歴、単語帳、学習統計、バッジ等の学習データは、ユーザーの端末にローカル保存されます。
• 記憶データ：AIがチャット中に保存するユーザー情報（名前、趣味等）は、端末内にローカル保存されます。
• 設定情報：キッズモード、利用時間制限、PIN等の設定は端末内に保存されます。
• 端末識別子：無料メッセージ回数の管理および不正利用の防止、サブスクリプション状態の管理のため、端末固有の識別子（Android の SSAID、iOS の Identifier for Vendor）を取得し、当社サーバー（Firebase / Firestore）に保存します。この識別子は広告目的には使用しません。

3. 情報の保存場所

学習記録・記憶データ・設定情報は、すべてユーザーの端末内（ローカルストレージ）に保存され、当社サーバーには保存されません。例外として、上記の端末識別子と、それに紐づく無料メッセージ利用回数およびサブスクリプション状態のみ、不正利用防止と課金管理の目的で当社サーバーに保存されます。アプリを削除してもこのサーバー側の記録は残る場合があります。

4. データの保護とセキュリティ

端末内に保存される学習記録・記憶データ・設定情報は、アプリ専用の保護領域（iOS / Android の各OSが提供するアプリサンドボックス）に格納されます。iOS では端末にパスコードが設定されている場合、OS の Data Protection により保存データが暗号化されます。Android ではアプリ専用領域に保存され、他のアプリからアクセスできません。当社サーバーとの通信はすべて TLS（HTTPS）により暗号化されます。なお、root 化・脱獄（jailbreak）された端末や、端末自体が第三者の手に渡った場合のローカルデータの保護は保証できません。

5. 第三者への提供

ユーザーが入力したメッセージは、AI応答の生成のためにGoogle LLC（Gemini API / Vertex AI）に送信されます。Googleのプライバシーポリシーについては Google プライバシーポリシー をご参照ください。

上記を除き、ユーザーの個人情報を第三者に提供することはありません。

6. 子供のプライバシー

本アプリは子供の利用を想定しています。保護者向けにPINロック機能および利用時間制限機能を提供しています。13歳未満のお子様の利用には保護者の同意を推奨します。

7. データの削除

ユーザーはアプリ内の検索画面から記憶データを個別に削除できます。アプリをアンインストールすると、全てのローカルデータが削除されます。

8. 変更について

本ポリシーは必要に応じて変更されることがあります。重要な変更がある場合はアプリ内でお知らせします。

1. Introduction

TalkBuddy ("the App") is a language learning application provided by abyo software LLC ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle user information in the App.

2. Information We Handle

• Conversation Data: Messages you type and AI responses are sent to Google Gemini AI for generating language learning responses.
• Learning Data: Conversation history, flashcards, learning statistics, and badges are stored locally on your device.
• Memory Data: Information the AI saves about you (name, hobbies, etc.) during chats is stored locally on your device.
• Settings: Kids mode, usage limits, PIN, and other settings are stored locally on your device.
• Device Identifier: To enforce the free-message limit, prevent abuse, and manage subscription status, we collect a device-specific identifier (Android SSAID, or iOS Identifier for Vendor) and store it on our servers (Firebase / Firestore). This identifier is not used for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage

Learning data, memory data, and settings are all stored locally on your device (local storage) and are not stored on our servers. The only exceptions are the device identifier described above and the associated free-message usage count and subscription status, which are stored on our servers for abuse prevention and billing management. This server-side record may persist after you uninstall the app.

4. Data Protection and Security

Learning data, memory data, and settings stored on your device are kept in the app's protected storage area (the app sandbox provided by iOS and Android). On iOS, when a device passcode is enabled, stored data is encrypted by the operating system's Data Protection. On Android, data is stored in the app-private area and cannot be accessed by other apps. All communication with our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). We cannot guarantee protection of local data on rooted or jailbroken devices, or when the device itself is accessed by a third party.

5. Third-Party Services

Your messages are sent to Google LLC (Gemini API / Vertex AI) to generate AI responses. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for use by children. We provide parental controls including PIN lock and usage time limits. We recommend parental consent for children under 13.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete memory data individually from the search screen. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App.
